RICA - Registration Info

RICA Registration Info & How to Save on Registration Costs...

Here we provide a general overview of RICA registration info, along with some basic advice on how to save on RICA registration costs.  For current 2016-2017 Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) administrations, registration may be completed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the RICA Written Examination via the internet, or by mail for the RICA Video Performance Assessment.

As of January 2012, the regular RICA registration fee for the RICA Written Exam is $165.  The registration fee for the RICA Video Performance Assessment is $60, plus an additional $70 submission fee due when submitting video packets for scoring, for a total testing fee of $130.  However, there is also an additional $20 "Express Delivery Fee" if you wish to rush processing.  To avoid this additional fee, we generally recommend that our students plan ahead and register for the RICA well in advance of when a passing score is needed, if possible, so that express delivery will not be necessary.  Click below to view a current listing of RICA submission dates and deadlines...
