Note: Per the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, the Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) has been retired and will no longer be offered after June 30, 2025. Candidates now have two options: take a Commission-approved performance assessment that includes literacy instruction or take the Foundations of Reading Test (FoRT). Learn about FoRT Prep Classes.
Our RICA Prep Classes teach you everything you need to pass your exam.
First, you'll watch in-depth instructional videos in which you'll learn all the key content knowledge, based on the test specifications published by the testing service. Then you'll work through realistic practice tests, with additional videos showing you how to apply your knowledge to the types of questions you'll encounter on the actual exam.
All of our RICA Prep Courses are fully online, so you can study at your own pace, on your schedule.
