Scharmela Edwards has served as an educator for almost 20 years, teaching primarily high school mathematics and science. She earned a BS in Biology (Chemistry minor) at the University of South Alabama and a M.S. Ed. At National University. Additionally, she holds a Single Subject clear credential in both Biological Sciences and Mathematics as well as an Administrative Services credential. She currently serves as an Education Programs Consultant at the California Department of Education.
