FTCE Test Dates

2018 FTCE Testing Windows & Results Release Schedule

Below is a current listing of the 2018 FTCE test dates.  These are computer-based test dates, which apply to popular exams such as FTCE General Knowledge, FTCE Elementary Education, and FTCE Subject Area exams.  You can schedule computer-delivered FTCE testing year-round by appointment.

When selecting your FTCE test date, you will want to ensure you have sufficient time to prepare.  Start by viewing our free FTCE Study Guides for a concise, bullet-pointed listing of exactly which topics appear on your exam, and taking our free FTCE Practice Tests to see how you will perform (including complete diagnostic breakdowns of your individual strengths and weaknesses by domain).  These resources will give you a good snapshot of how much preparation time you will need, so you can schedule your test date accordingly.

You should also be aware of the "retake" policy enforced by Pearson (the official testing service).  This policy may affect when you will want to schedule your exam.  For more info on this, as well as helpful advice on how to choose the best test date for your individual needs, please click below...
