Class Itinerary

The Praxis Core exam covers Mathematics, Reading and Writing.

In these info-packed set of classes (sold separately), we'll review all the key content knowledge you need to pass. We'll also teach you test strategies designed specifically for Praxis Core, including how to deconstruct multiple-choice problems and how to avoid “trick” answers that seem right, but aren’t.

Praxis Core - Mathematics, Reading and Writing

Day 1 (Friday) - Praxis Core Writing
6:00 p.m.-6:10 p.m.	Arrival and check-in. Please remember to bring your receipt and photo ID: these items are required for admission.
6:10 p.m.-10:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Praxis Core Writing. Text Types, Purposes and Production will be reviewed in detail, as well as Language and Research Skills for Writing. The class will address how to write both an effective argument essay and source-based essay using a writing framework, what graders are looking for with each essay-type, as well as how to revise an existing passage. Test strategies and tips for multiple-choice will also be covered.
Day 2 (Saturday) - Praxis Core Mathematics
9:00 a.m.-9:10 a.m.	Arrival and check-in. Please remember to bring your receipt and photo ID: these items are required for admission.
9:10 a.m.-11:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Praxis Core Mathematics with multiple choice questions integrated throughout. Number and Quantity will be covered in detail. Test strategies and tips will also be discussed.
11:00 a.m.-11:10 a.m.	Morning break.
11:10 a.m.-1:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Number and Quantity continues. Data Interpretation and Representation, Statistics, and Probability introduced, with test questions and techniques incorporated.
1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.	Lunch break.
2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Data Interpretation and Representation, Statistics, and Probability continues. Algebra and Geometry content also introduced.
4:00 p.m.-4:10 p.m.	Afternoon break.
4:10 p.m.-6:00 p.m.	Algebra and Geometry discussion continues. Test tips and strategy discussed, and opportunity for final questions from students.
Day 3 (Sunday) - Praxis Core Reading
9:00 a.m.-9:10 a.m.	Arrival and check-in. Please remember to bring your receipt and photo ID: these items are required for admission.
9:10 a.m.-11:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Praxis Core Reading. Key Ideas and Details will be comprehensively covered, with students gaining skills for critical analysis, evaluation and comprehension. Test strategies and tips will also be addressed.
11:00 a.m.-11:10 a.m.	Morning break.
11:10 a.m.-1:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Key Ideas and Details continues. Craft, Structure and Language Skills will be introduced, with relevant multiple choice questions integrated throughout.
1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.	Lunch break.
2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.	Lecture presentation on Craft, Structure and Language Skills completed. Final content domain introduced: Integration of Knowledge and Ideas.
4:00 p.m.-4:10 p.m.	Afternoon break.
4:10 p.m.-6:00 p.m.	Presentation on Integration of Knowledge and Ideas concluded. Closing discussion of strategy and exam tips, with opportunity for last student questions.
